Rules and Regulations

For each of our Team Maker 50/50 Raffles, one lucky fan will walk away a winner!  Tickets may be purchased for a raffle at any home football game, men’s basketball game, or at our gaming sites where raffles are offered on various days all year.

Tickets must be purchased from one of our sellers and may only be purchased with cash.  Credit purchases are not allowed under ND Law. Rules on Ticket sales and how to claim a prize for various events are as follows:

  1. Raffle Tickets are Not Tax Deductible. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries, or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
  1. Purchasing Raffle Tickets. All Raffle tickets (“Raffle Tickets”) may be purchased as follows: one (1) Raffle Ticket for $1.00; seven (7) Raffle Tickets for $5.00; twenty (20) Raffle Tickets for $10.00; sixty (60) Raffle Tickets for $20. The $1 option is not available at our casino site raffles. There are no other discounts or complimentary Raffle Tickets.
  1. Taxes. Each winner shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, or charges associated with a prize. At the time of this printing, federal law requires that a tax withholding on certain prize values must be collected from winners upon award and distribution. Federal and state withholding laws are subject to change without notice. The withholding laws in effect at the time each prize is claimed will be followed.
